VERY NICE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER 1953 TOPPS BASEBALL COMPLETE BASEBALL SET, FULL OF HOFERS AND MAJOR STARS INCLUDING MICKEY MANTLE, JACKIE ROBINSON, WILLIE MAYS, ETC. Overall I would call it a VG/VG+ in MY OPINION (yours may vary).

Set varies in condition from mostly G to EX cards with the overwhelming majority in various grades of VG, some better some worse. Major stars grade as follows.

Robinson P (appears nicer, several creases, tape front to back below chin). Campanella F/G (corner wear, creasing). Mathews P (corner wear, creasing, tear by right side). Feller G/VG (rounded corners, surface crease on back, wax stains on back).

Reese F/G (corner wear, creasing). Martin F/G (appears nicer, paper loss by top edge, surface wrinkles). Berra VG/VG+ (appears nicer, faint surface wrinkle, tiny piece of paper loss by left edge). Rizzuto appears VG/VG+ (paper loss on back, surface creasing). Spahn G/VG (appears nicer, crease by lower edge, surface wrinkling). Wilhelm VG- (off center, crease by top left area). Ford G/G+ (rounded corners, crease through his hat). Paige G/G+ (corner weaer, lots of tiny wrinkles throughout). Mays appears VG+/VGEX (off center, edge wear by left edge, couple of faint surface wrinkles). Gilliam RC G/VG (appears nicer, light creasing throughout). Podres RC F/G (rounded corners, tiny paper loss by top edge, creasing).

High numbers appear in similar shape, VG range throughout some nicer some lower. OVERALL A GOOD ASSORTMENT WITH GREAT BREAKUP VALUE, OR UPGRADE IT AND HAVE A REALLY NICE SET!
