What makes this sweatshirt special is the unique artwork on the front showing the NYC New York City skyline and the Mickey Mantle autograph underneath it. The hat has the retired number 7.
This sweatshirt and hat was bought by me in NYC at the Mickey Mantle Restaurant in 2012 before it closed its doors as I was actually there and had a meal before it closed its doors. The sweatshirt is navy blue and features the Mickey Mantle's name as he would autograph his name and the number 7 on the left arm which are both outlined in white. It is a size Medium for Adults (from armpit to armpit in the chest area it measures 22 and 3/4" inches and total length from the top of neck down to the bottom hem it measures 26 and 3/4" inches). This sweatshirt and hat have both been worn, it does have some wear and tear to it, including some stains on the arm and sleeve.
The hat has a small stain on it too in the lower part of the 7. Now you can own this vintage sweatshirt and hat /cap wear it proudly to represent The Yankees and the rich history of the franchise with the most beloved Yankees of all time in Mickey Mantle.Please see the pictures and the description above for size details of the shirt.
